The Problem:
Uncertainty about how much people can afford for their next purchase or refinance — given income, existing debt, equity, and cashflow. Planning was fragmented across spreadsheets and guesswork, and brokers needed a shared, repeatable way to show clients "what's possible" (max purchase price, LVR, cashflow impact) without manual calculations. Users wanted to compare scenarios — sell this property? refinance? 80% vs 90% LVR? — without rebuilding the whole model each time.
Our Solution:
Built a guided, scenario-based planning and calculation engine that:
Captures properties, debts, cross-secured debt, and step-by-step answers (income, surplus, purchase type, LVR, stamp duty state, FHOG, etc.) per scenario
Runs a centralised pipeline using Australian rules — stamp duty by state, FHOG, LMI tiers
Produces four outcome dimensions: Cashflow, Available Funds, Purchase LVR, and Portfolio LVR — with an ideal purchase price (the highest price that meets all four goals)
Supports partner branding, seat-based subscriptions (Stripe), and broker-granted client access so clients see "My Results" without a direct subscription
The Results:
Dashboard chart of the four outcomes with an "Ideal Price" reference line — see at a glance how close you are to your target
Full breakdown for your suggested purchase price: cashflow surplus, available funds, purchase LVR, portfolio LVR — all with itemised detail
Goal pass/fail per constraint (e.g. green/red) so users see immediately which limits are met
Edit key inputs from the dashboard — change price, LVR, cashflow goals, stamp duty — and see updated results
Access gated by subscription or partner (broker/adviser) so clients get full results when their adviser opens "My Results" for them
